**ADOPTABLE** UPDATE March 2, 2022 – One Baby Left!

We have three baby male rats to adopt, but check with us (phone number at the bottom) as they are already popular. Check out the pictures – they are adorable and SO smart.

Mama rat was given to the clinic three weeks ago. She accidentally got pregnant and couldn’t stay where she was living, so Dr. Clevenger took her in (another reason that our vets are the best). Eight babies were born the next day.

There are three girls and five boys. Mama is super sweet and has been taking care of all her babies perfectly. These little ones have been handled many times a day by two kids as well as their parents and are used to humans. They are very interactive and curious. The three that have not yet been spoken for are all males. They are eating solid food and will be ready to go to their new homes on Feb 14.

Adoption fee is $10 for each. Pikes Peak Vet has an adoption application for any pet that we care for and adopt out. We review them for suitability and will usually be able to let you know within a few days if your application is approved. If you are interested, please call 719-475-1747 to get the application.
