2021 Pikes Peak Vet Puppy Packages Offer Everything Your Pup Needs!
April 28, 2021There is a better way to afford the cost of your new kitten’s veterinary care! Pikes Peak Vet has designed packages so your kitten doesn’t miss out on anything AND it saves you money.
| Our 2021 packages include a 20% savings when you bundle all of the services as we have. Your appointments are set and you get lots of extra information and time to ask questions at each visit, plus the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have created the best conditions for your kitten to thrive! Plan Visits Include: ö Complete physical exam ö Both required and core recommended vaccinations including Rabies, Feline Leukemia, and the Respiratory Combo/Panleukopenia ö Discussions about training, nutrition, oral hygiene, and spay/neuter. ö Nail Trims (because trimming a kittens nails can not only be tough to do singlehandedly, but can leave scars!) ö Three Deworming treatments and two Fecal Checks to make sure serious parasites that could threaten their health and that of your family are knocked out early. We will provide three treatments of a dewormer to protect against intestinal parasites and Heartworm. (Some types of parasites found in a fecal evaluation will require additional medications.) ö FeLV/FIV Test which screens for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. Cats infected with the viruses often live shorter lives and are more prone to other diseases. Neither virus is treatable, but if your kitten were to be diagnosed with this, we can help you figure out how to maintain quality of life and not infect others since both are very contagious to other cats. We highly recommend spaying or neutering your kitten because there are already an excessive number of felines who are living on the streets. Discuss the best timing with your doctor and get it scheduled! Please call or message us if you have any questions, or just ask about our kitten packages when you bring your kitten in for his or her first visit! Photo by Jeanie de Klerk on Unsplash |
