Help Your Canine Manage Your Transition From Working at Home Back to the Office
September 7, 2020If your dog suffers from separation anxiety, you know they are happiest when you are home. However, this does not change the fact that some of us will be going back to work or have other events that take us out of the home. Behaviors that characterize separation anxiety include:
- Excessive howling, barking, or whining;
- Indoor “accidents” though housebroken;
- Inappropriate chewing, digging holes, and scratching at widows and doors often in an attempt to escape;
- Drooling, panting, or salivating much more than usual;
- Pacing, often in an obsessive pattern.
